Where do lessons take place & how do I get there?
Lessons take place in Thissio, in a welcoming house specially arranged for our classes. We’re located on the first floor (no elevator), so if you have any mobility difficulties, please let us know in advance. Our location is between Thissio and Kerameikos. You can easily reach us on foot or by subway, getting off at either of these stations.
Where can I stay?
You’ll find plenty of accommodation options near our school. From cozy Airbnbs and boutique hotels around Thissio and Kerameikos to larger hotels in central Athens, there’s something for every preference and budget. We’re happy to give you tips and suggestions so you can find a place that’s comfortable and close by, making your stay in Athens even more enjoyable.

What's a Typical Day?
Every day at Greek School is designed to balance learning and enjoyment. Mornings start with 3 hours of engaging lessons in small groups. After class, you’ll have time to enjoy your personalized exercises and explore Athens at your own pace. Evenings are free for relaxation, sightseeing, or joining optional activities with your classmates. It’s the perfect mix of study and experience!
Do I need to buy a book?
No need to buy a book! We prepare a small, personalized digital booklet with exercises tailored to your needs and weaknesses—perfect for the whole week. You’ll also receive a notebook to keep your own notes during Greek School.
Do I have free time?
Yes, absolutely! Lessons take place in the morning, leaving your afternoons and evenings free to explore Athens, relax, or review your notes at your own pace. We encourage you to join our cultural activities, discover the city’s hidden corners, taste its amazing food, or simply rest. After all, learning works best when it’s balanced with free time.
